  Restaurant adds 10% to service bill in political statement. It's a shame. The food is good, but the General Manager shouldn't use it as a platform for her political views.

  We have been coming to this establishment when we 1st moved to the area. There are other Mexican food restaurants around but the prices and authenticity is the reason we keep coming back.
  Enjoy a bowl of menudo and or the passole rich flavor and usually not big gross hunks of tripe

  I've tried the place several times. They have one good manager who makes a great bloody mary but other than that the place isn't worth eating at, especially if you value your time. The second time I was here it took forever to get the bill from the bartender. This last time I went we waited almost ten minutes before a drink order. If you have a request don't bother asking the hostess Nancy, who is so busy flirting with one of the male employees she can't focus on her job. I specifically asked to be seated somewhere warm. They stuck us under the vent and it was blowing cold air. Then after being seated noticed a seat by the windows with the heat from the sun coming in. I asked Nancy if we could move to the booth becoming available, she said yes and then sat another couple there after saying we could move. The food is mediocre at best. The chips were barely warm, I was never asked if we wanted more chips or salsa, we had to hunt down the waitress for more chili because the food was dry, waitress never asked us how everything was, and the floors and seats don't look like they get cleaned during the day.

  I ate the fajita burrito and it was cold. I received a glass of water and I drank it pretty fast. Needless to say my server never asked me for a refill and I asked her about 3 times that I never received. My burritos chicken had no flavor. I only ate half of my food complain to my server about it and she did nothing. So as you can see I wouldn't recommend eating here. I would take to drive to 120th and Washington and heat at tequilas. Where they have much better food much better service a very friendly environment.
